| Job Description |
Develops methods to improve or modify PC&L business processes.
Determines Standard of Work and Value Stream maps for material flow in the supply chain.
Determines appropriate metrics and creates systems to support improvement efforts.
Works with internal team and external teams, including suppliers and customers as needed to develop complete value stream maps and drives Kaizen where appropriate.
Possess industry expert knowledge of best supply chain practices.
Assists sales staff by interfacing with current and potential customers to develop PC&L processes to support customer requirements.
Assists purchasing staff with current and potential suppliers to develop PC&L processes to support requirements in balance with supplier capabilities.
Utilizes industrial statistical quality concepts in conjunction with disciplines problem solving processes.
Communicates effectively across many organizations, "selling" ideas and improvements to make overall business benefits understood. Coordinates change with production, purchasing and customers, etc.
Travels to other company operations, customer sites and suppliers operations to solve problems, coordinate improvements, certify product, etc.
Perform extensive data mining and data manipulation in conjunction with statistical methods to analyze trends, to identify areas needed future investigation, to support finance and annual budget efforts and to facilitate improved customer service and working capital improvements.

| Qualifications |
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's of Science degree in Supply Chain with five or more years experience preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer literate, MS Office, Database, Minitab.
Ability to set priorities, organize and operate under pressure
Must be able to lead groups in problem solving activites.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and industrial statistical quality concepts including, but not limited to, frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factory analysis.
